We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Vice Captain at the Heathcote Golf Club. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the club and play a key role in shaping its future.
The Vice Captain will assist in making the running of our weekly club competitions more consistent and enjoyable for everyone. This role is perfect for anyone passionate about golf and eager to help improve the experience for all members.

Position Overview
The Vice Captain plays a vital support role within the leadership structure, contributing to the smooth operation of golf competitions, assisting with presentations, and aiding in the planning and execution of key events throughout the year. This role requires a proactive, organised, and collaborative individual who demonstrates commitment to the club’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Competitions Management:
- Oversee the completion of golf competitions, ensuring they run efficiently and smoothly.
- Use basic computer literacy to manage competition-related tasks, such as entering scores and finalising competition events.
Presentation Support:
- Assist with presentations, including stepping in to deliver announcements or awards when the Captain is unavailable.
Event Assistance:
- Provide support during major events, helping with coordination, logistics, and ensuring their overall success.
- Act as a point of contact and problem-solver during these events as needed.
